JAEL UMERAH-MAKELEMI

Malisjan is a Japanese inspired clothing line. I was briefed to design a logo to fit the Japanese theme using inspiration from other artists and designers. My main inspiration was Takashi Murakami, a Japanese pop art artist who collaborated with Louis Vuitton and Kanye west.  I wanted to add subtle bursts of colour which adds a fun and exciting element to the brand.

Wavey is an upcoming underwear and swimwear company. I was briefed with redesigning the original logo to create something that the client actually wanted. the initial logo was angular and oblong, so I decided to create a circular and curved design which references the shape of a wave.

Affiliate Apparel is an urban street wear brand for females. I designed the logo using Illustrator and Photoshop, testing out various colours and patterns to suite the brand image. I then produced mock-up's of what the products would look like.
